THE PROJECT

Bridging Political Differences for Children – from Bayreuth to Beirut. Join us on our charity tour from Bayreuth to Beirut. In a maximum of 50 days we cycle 4000 kilometres from Bayreuth to Beirut. And throughout our tour we will visit children’s funds, such as in Slovakia, Serbia, and Bulgaria to raise the issue of children in need.
Bridging Political Differences for Children – this is the motto of this non-profit tour! And you can join us since we are ‘selling’ each kilometre for 1 Euro. Buy as many kilometres as you want and help us to help children in need! Our obligation is it to donate your money for our cycling to a children’s fund in Beirut. We are cooperating with the German Embassy in Beirut whose staff will administer the money and make sure that your donation reaches those you really need it.

We start at September 17 in Bayreuth. You can also join us cycling and we can tour several kilometres together. You may find an interview we gave with the Sueddeutsche Zeitung at jetzt.de.

More information to whom the money will go: Arrived in Beirut, we will deliver your money to the “Insan School” which is a project by the Lebanese non-governmental organisation “Insan Association”. Their mission is to help children primarily from Africa and Asia who stem from Lebanese citizens. At the moment, “Insan Association” is responsible for 44 children between 4 and 14 years old and helps to prepare them for proper school education. How did we find out about his project? This project has been recommended to us by the German Embassy in Beirut when we presented our charity tour and asked for the best use of the fundraised money.
